Gothic 1 Remake Console Commands & Cheats

A player-compiled reference for the Gothic 1 Remake debug console. Use these commands for testing, recovery, or relaxed playthroughs. Always back up your saves before using cheats.

How to Enable the Console

  1. Navigate to the game installation folder.
  2. Open Config.ini or the equivalent launcher settings file.
  3. Set EnableConsole=true.
  4. Launch the game and press the tilde key (~) to open the console window.

Common Console Commands

godToggle invincibility. Player takes no damage from enemies or falls.
killInstantly kill the targeted NPC or creature under the crosshair.
invisibleEnemies ignore the player until the command is toggled off.
give [item_id] [count]Add an item to your inventory by item ID.
spawn [npc_id]Spawn an NPC or creature in front of the player.
teleport [location_id]Fast-travel to a named waypoint or coordinate.
set health [value]Set current health to the specified value.
set mana [value]Set current mana to the specified value.
add xp [amount]Grant learning points or experience depending on the build.
timescale [value]Speed up or slow down the in-game day cycle.

Save Editors & Trainers

If you prefer a graphical interface, several community save editors and trainers are available. These tools let you modify inventory, attributes, and quest states without memorizing console commands.

  • Back up save files before editing.
  • Some online save editors support direct upload of Gothic 1 Remake save files.
